"Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith — to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen." Romans 16:25-27 (NIV)
According to Paul, the Good News was a mystery for many years. But the final page fell open with the coming of Jesus Christ. And Paul’s response in Romans 16—after explaining the mystery of Christ and the gospel—is praise.
Remember, what the Good News is to you may still be a mystery to others around you—others who will gladly join in your chorus of praise once they have heard and responded.
"I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed —a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'” Romans 1:14-17 (NIV)
"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" Mark 16:15 NIV
Do we have the excitement of Apostle Paul?
Do we believe down deep what we say with our mouths while in church?
Are we displaying to others the good news that Jesus Saves?
To God be glory forever through Jesus Christ!
